简单介绍：
1932年某日，岫岩县雕玉大户赫家主人赫国雍要娶京剧戏班的头牌花旦白牡丹为三姨太。这时，匪首“八匹虎”领着人在路上打劫了白牡丹送亲的花轿，婚礼中止。赫家大公子赫师旗从日本东京帝国大学毕业，和日本的好友石光一郎一块儿乘一辆日本汽车回到岫岩祝贺。中日战争全面爆发，日本人攻入县城，石光一郎报请上级，成立满铁株式会社，占有中国玉石矿，加工雕琢玉石器件。师旗被日本人胁迫勘探玉石期间，趁机在各地勘探日军军事地形，从日军监狱逃出后，上山当了土匪，后加入抗日义勇军。二儿子赫怀旗明面投靠日本人加入自卫团，小梅去寺院当了尼姑。石光一郎听说葛家挖出一块老玉，便想雕琢一件玉器，给日本天皇做寿礼，拾来自荐雕玉却因自负酿成大错，最终疯了。后石光一郎要求曾给溥仪、张作霖雕刻玉石的赫国雍亲自操刀，完成寿礼九龙转日。在运送寿礼前往日本的船只上，赫老抱玉跳海。解放后，该玉件成了国宝。
